Almost Done

Today i woke up and the pain and swelling was much improved! I had an ultrasound on my gull bladder for my stomach pains this morning, so i was not able to make it to cross country.  After that, i ate a little solid food, and then had a sports physical! All of this my mom drove me to, so no gas was wasted (yet) haha.  After all that, i ran in the heat of the day at 12.  It was absolutely terrible...so hot!  Afterward, i hung out with my girlfriend for the rest of the day.  We got some food and just relaxed for awhile.  Then we swam for a couple hours, and then we chilled out for the night in my basement.  Something we have not done much of this summer, so it was nice to just take it easy! Tomorrow we are not sure what we are doing, but wednesday we plan to visit Chicago again before school starts! Tomorrow cross country is at my high school, so 5 miles of biking will be done.  Goodnight.

Today i worked again, of course.  I got up early and went for another crappy 5 mile run.  Then i went to work, it was just me and my muddy in back all day and we had a blast making cardboard warehouse bridges and playing basketball and making cardboard boats for the pond haha.  After work, my family and his family all got together and went to see Cars 2.  Several years ago, we all saw Cars- so we thought we should keep the tradition going!  Dinner afterward was good and then just relaxed tonight.  I of course biked to work, getting my 3.3 miles and that is it.  Tomorrow i finally have off work- it should be a fun day! Also, gas stayed at $3.89 a gallon again this week making the average go down a little more to $3.96.  Goodnight.

Storms (3.2 miles)

Today i got to sleep in a little bit because i took the day off from running.  When i woke up, it was storming like crazy outside.  By the time i had to leave for work, it was starting to die down, but it was still raining pretty good.  This meant i had to drive to work.  I also had to stop by my girlfriends house again to drop soemthing else off..haha.  This was 4.8 miles i didn't get to ride!  Work was okay, i had to do the truck by myself again and i even checked everythign thing in myself and built most of the stuff.  After work, the rain was gone.  I drove home, got some dinner, then biked to my girlfriend's house for a little bit to play with her kitten again haha.  I biked back at night for my first official night ride with the light.  It was actually very relaxing and i enjoyed it a lot! Tomorrow i work again and i need to get to the bank...so if everything goes as planned i should have some pretty high mileage tomorrow!  Goodnight.

Hottest Day Yet (4.8 miles)

Today was interesting and tiring.  I woke up to run a 6 mile tempo at practice and it was just too hot, it turned into a 5 mile disaster... After that exhausting practice, i got ready for work and left a few minutes early because i had to run something to my girlfriends house before work.  This added on an extra 1.5 miles, making the day 4.8 miles.  Work was difficult.  I worked all day, half by myself.  I unloaded a huge truck by myself which was awful, the truck driver stood and watched. My legs were so exhausted i had such a hard time.  After work, i hung out with my friends and what did they want to do? Go bowling... more activity for my legs..that's what i needed!  It was a lot of fun though, we played for money and i ended up losing $4 unfortunately... Oh well!  Now i am home, extremely tired.  A day off from running tomorrow sounds great before a 10 hour day at work! Goodnight!

Bad Day (3.3 miles)

Today was a regular Saturday at work, until i started getting terrible stomach pains.  I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, but this was much worse than usual.  I needed to go home and rest... However, i rode my bike and i was not going to ride home with this pain.  Luckily it was the weekend, and my dad was able to come pick me up.  I went home and rested up for an hour and a half until i finally felt better and returned to work.  I felt fine for the rest of the day, it was quite odd.  I rode home without any problems.  The ride to work was very nice with a nice breeze and it was very overcast.  On the way home, it was scorching outside with the sun beating down.  I also ran in the overcast weather it was wonderful, a 5 miler.  I was going to run more after work, but i did not want to risk stomach ache again, so i have to run a lot tomorrow to hit my weekly mileage.  Since it was just to work and back, i hit the reoccurring mileage of 3.3 miles.  Same deal tomorrow, and with my girlfriend after work!

Work (3.3 miles)

Today was just a regular ole day, working all day with a decent sized truck.  Luckily, this time i had help so it didn't take too long and we finished everything...so tomorrow there will be nothing to do!  I rode my bike to work and back, it was hot weather, but there was a wind too cool you down.  Except the wind sucked while riding!  I was too lazy to run before work, so i ran a 5 miler after work.  The biking was the usual 3.3 miles, once again without my speedometer.  I am quite angry about that, i spent $20 on the speedometer and it stops working after like 2 months.  That totally cancels out all the money i have saved on gas.  I am very dissapointed and do not know what to do, but i guess that is just life.  Hopefully i can find a new battery because i believe that is the problem.  Tomorrow i do not have much goign on, so i will attempt repair then.  Goodnight.
